What are your office hours?
Our office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. We are closed on weekends and New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
How do I get directions to your offices?
We have two locations:
- 1722 Bethlehem Pike, Flourtown, PA 19031
- 790 Penllyn-Blue Bell Pike, Suite 301, Blue Bell, PA 19422
To get directions to our office, please go to the “Hours & Directions” tab on our home page. From there, you will be directed to Google Maps, where you can enter your home or work address and obtain specific directions to our office.
How do I make an appointment?
To make an appointment for an office visit or test, please call our schedulers at 215.233.9700, or go to the “Appointment Request” tab the on the Home page and request an appointment through our website.
When you call or write, be prepared to give us the following information:
- Name
- Date of Birth
- Address
- Home and alternate phone numbers
- Brief description of the reason for the appointment
- Primary care provider
- Your insurance or HMO information
How do I reschedule or cancel an appointment?
Please call or reschedule within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment. You may call our office or use the “Cancellation Request” tab on our website.
How can I prepare for my appointment?
Please assist us by remembering to bring the following information to your appointment:
- Referral form (if required)
- Insurance card and a driver’s license or social security card
- A completed Patient Medical History form, which can be filled out and printed from our “Patient Forms” tab on our website.
- A list of current medications and doses
- Relevant information about your medical and surgical history, including copies of blood tests and previous cardiovascular tests.
- Questions your would like to ask the physician
Do I need a referral for my appointment?
It is best to call your primary care physician or your insurance company (the phone number is on your card) to find out of you will need a referral for your appointment.
How do I find out more about my physician?
Please go to the “Our Physicians” tab on our home page to find out more about your individual physician.
How can I contact my physician?
During office hours (8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) please call our office at 215.233.9700. Generally, these calls will be answered by your physician within one business day. If you feel your issue or question is urgent, please tell the receptionist, and your call will be returned promptly.
During nights and weekends, please call our office at 215.233.9700 for urgent or emergency issues or questions. You will be referred to our answering service and the on-call cardiologist will be notified immediately. One of our cardiologists is on call 7-days-a-week, 24 hours-a-day and is available for any cardiac issues that may arise during non-business hours.
What do the letters F.A.C.C. after the doctor’s name mean?
Fellow in the American College of Cardiology. Membership is based on the doctor’s outstanding credentials, achievements, and community contribution to cardiovascular medicine. The strongest evidence of achievement for those who earn the F.A.C.C. insignia comes from their peers. Letters of sponsorship from other doctors and medical school faculty attest to professional competence and commitment to excellence, and are necessary for election to Fellowship in the College. When accepting election to Fellowship in ACC, each physician pledges, "cooperation and loyalty to the attainment of the ideals" of the College, the most important of which is to promote excellence in cardiovascular care.
What should I do in the event of an emergency?
Please call our office at 215.233.9700 for urgent or emergency issues or questions. You will be referred to our answering service and the on-call cardiologist will be notified immediately. One of our cardiologists is on call 7-days-a-week, 24 hours-a-day and is available for any emergency cardiac issues that may arise during non-business hours.
If you have significant chest pain or shortness of breath, fainting, rapid heart beating, or your defibrillator shocks you, please call 911 and go to the closest emergency room.
How can I found out more about my cardiovascular medical conditions and tests?
We have created a tab on our website called “Patient Education”. You will find links to more information on cardiovascular diseases, tests, and procedures.

How can I get a refill of my prescription?
You can get a prescription refill by either calling our office during business hours (215.233.9700, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) or by using the “Prescription Refill” tab on our website. You will be asked to answer some basic information about yourself and your prescription medication. We would be happy to write out the prescription so you can pick it up, call in the prescription to your pharmacy, or mail it to your home. Your pharmacist can also request a prescription refill directly using our website.

Patti Morris, R.D., sees patients in our Flourtown office 5 days per week. Her hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30 to 5:00 p.m. She is a registered and licensed dietician, nutritionist, and certified diabetes educator. Can you tell me more about the Pacemaker Clinic?
The Pacemaker Clinic, run by Terry Bond, R.N., follows patients for their pacemakers and defibrillators. It is located around the corner from our Flourtown office, at 12 East Mill Road. Our hours are 8:30 a.m to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday (we are closed 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. for lunch) and 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
